====== Neo SPQR ======

The Neo SPQR is a militaristic human faction based on an ancient empire. The group split away from the Human Federation shortly after the collapse of the warpgate toward the old Earth. Not much is known about their intentions as the Human Federation is too busy dealing with the other factions to investigate. The fact they closed their borders and shoot trespassers on sight doesn't help either.

Favorite planet type: Temperate

===== Diplomacy =====

While this faction does play the diplomatic game, they are extremely wary of foreigners and as such, it's very unlikely you'll be able to struck a good deal with them. They are stubborn and militaristic. Bribery is however relatively effective against them.

===== Military =====

This faction uses its own ships exclusively. Those are powerful especially when working as a fleet. As such the SPQR military is one of the strongest in the galaxy. However their ships are also more costly than their counterparts from other factions. They use standard weaponry and shielding systems, though.

Once at war they will destroy any enemy factory in the sectors they take over.

===== Economy =====

They have a standard economic system with nothing particular of note except the innate bonus they receive to manpower.

===== Law =====

They have a brutal police force. They do not tolerate piracy or foreign assets in their territory. It's also illegal to deal in Drugs with the SPQR.
